New project researcher Alessandra Scottą

My name is Alessandra Scottą. I graduated in Informatic Engineering at the University of Padua, Italy and started to work with GIS during the development of my thesis at the department of Geodesy, by the Technical University in Delft. After my university studies, I found my first employment in the GIS field by Fugro-Inpark and currently I am working as GIS software engineer by Geodan IT. Since 1 October I am also working one day per week at the SPINlab where I am involved with research and developments on the Mitsubishi Diamond Touch Table within the framework of disaster management and spatial planning.





New project researcher Harmen Hofstra

My name is Harmen Hofstra. I am a major student information science at the University of Amsterdam. Since October 1st 2006 I am working one day a week at the Spinlab. I am involved within the field of Disaster management. I will carry out several tasks for the Geo Data Infrastructure for Disaster Management project (GDI4DM). Before working at Spinlab I was involved with the GDI4DM project as a trainee at Geodan S&R.

New project researcher Simone Verzandvoort

My name is Simone Verzandvoort. I am working in the EduGIS project, an initiative for an educational web portal on GIS for secondary education. The VU University hosts and develops the EduGIS portal in cooperation with two GIS companies (Geodan and ESRI), secondary schools and companies specialized in educational applications using ICT.
