Course fees

Note: Information on course fees and payment can also be found on the application forms.

For the postgraduate UNIGIS Certificate Course (one year - Modules 1 through 4 and one workshop), the fee is Euro 3300.

For the postgraduate UNIGIS Diploma Course (two years - Modules 1 through 8 and two workshops), the fee is:

  • Euro 5500 for people who have not obtained the UNIGIS Certificate and
  • Euro 2200 for people who have obtained the UNIGIS Certificate.

If you want subsequently to register for the (one-year) MSc in GIS, you must have obtained the UNIGIS Diploma already, and the additional fee will be Euro 2000.

Note: Extra fees must be paid if students fail to meet the deadline to finish their studies.

These fees include payment for:

  • All learning materials (with the exception of two additional books), course notes, selected texts and readings, computer based learning software, data, helpline support, assessment, feedback and certificates.
  • GeoMedia Professional v6.0

NOT included are:

  • Software: if you choose to adopt ArcView or IDRISI you will be able to purchase a copy at the UNIGIS discounted rate.
  • Workshop expenses:- if you attend the optional workshops you will need to cover your travel and accommodation expenses. All workshops are held in Amsterdam.
  • Hardware: you will need to have internet access and a PC at your disposal, for more details consult the handbook

The ESRI Virtual Campus courses are available to our students at a 50% discount. The course fee is payable either in full at the start of the course or by instalments.
